Help
How Appys works, where its information comes from, and what to do when an app isn’t working for you.
A site that shows whether apps are working right now, how often they’ve had problems over the last 90 days, and which apps do the same job. It covers more than 200 apps.
We read the app’s own status page, the one its company uses to report problems, as soon as you open the app’s page here. When it reports a problem, so do we, in plain words.
The app’s status page may not have caught up yet: companies often take a few minutes to post a problem, and some small problems never get posted. It could also be your connection, your device or an app update. Try another network or device. If the app’s status page later reports the problem, Appys will show it within minutes.
Whenever you open an app’s page and our last reading is more than 2 minutes old. In between, apps people get email alerts for are checked every 2 minutes, apps with a problem every 5 minutes until it’s fixed, and every other app at least every 30 minutes. Each page shows when it was last checked.
Yes. Email [email protected] with the app’s name in the subject, like Watch Slack. How email alerts work.
Appys lists apps that publish an official status page we can read, so every status is the app’s own. A few very popular apps without one are listed too, with a link to where they post updates. If it’s your app, list it here. To suggest someone else’s, email [email protected].
No. Appys is independent. App names and logos belong to their owners.
Some links to apps are partner links, which may earn Appys a commission, and some pages carry ads, which are labelled. Neither changes any app’s status or ranking. More detail.
Awards for the most dependable app in each category, judged only by each app’s own record over the last 90 days.
