Circle has the strongest record of the 4 we can rank right now, with 6 reported problems and no major outage in the last 90 days. Thinkific comes next. Kajabi sits 3rd, with 17 reported problems and no major outage in the last 90 days.

Ranked by uptime (the share of time without a major outage, as each company rates its own problems), then time free of any reported problem, then problems per month, all from each company's own status page. Some companies never rate a problem as major, so read the problems column too. Typical fix is the middle time a post stayed open across its whole record, so a company that posts late looks quicker. A low count can mean few problems or few posts. Prices are the lowest paid plan in US dollars unless marked, checked on each company's own site on 1 Nov 2026. See how Appys checks apps.
Kajabi is the all-in-one option. Basic, at $143 a month billed yearly or $179 billed monthly, includes a website, funnels, marketing emails and a community, but stops at 5 products and 2,500 contacts. Growth, for 50 products, is $199. If you only run courses, you’re paying for a lot you don’t use. If you use all of it, count what you’d have to replace.
The cheaper plans here make their money on your sales. On $2,000 a month, Teachable Starter’s 7.5% fee is $150, so its $29 plan really costs $179 before card fees, more than Kajabi Basic. Podia Mover’s 5% takes it to $142. Kajabi charges no revenue share, though using an outside payment processor adds 2% on Basic.

A big course catalogue
Unlimited courses and up to 10,000 current students on Start, against Kajabi's 5 products, with no commission on sales, though sales through Stripe carry a third-party gateway fee. There's no Kajabi import. You get a bulk content uploader and a migration guide, and its team will create students from a spreadsheet with 5 working days' notice. Student progress doesn't carry over.
5 reported problems and no major outage in the last 90 days; typically fixed in 2 h 12 min.
Selling abroad without handling tax
Its payments service calculates, collects and remits sales tax, VAT and GST across more than 45 countries, which is real work taken off your desk. Starter is limited to 5 published products and 1 admin, and the 7.5% fee drops to 0% on Builder, $69 a month billed yearly. Its own blog says neither platform offers automatic migration, and hands-on help is on the Custom plan.
6 reported problems in the last 90 days, up 99.33% of the time; typically fixed in 3 h 19 min.
Solo creators who want one cheap tool
Website, products, community and email on every plan, with unlimited customers. Mover is limited to 50 products, 500 videos and only 100 email subscribers, and affiliate marketing starts a plan up. Its team moves your courses and downloads for free on any paid plan, but not quizzes, pipelines, or payment plans and subscriptions.
Its status page last posted a problem in July 2023, so a clean record here tells you little.
Paid communities and memberships
Community first, with unlimited members and courses included, and a 2% fee on paywall sales on Professional. That plan stops at 20 spaces and 3 admins, with no automations. Circle publishes a guide to moving from Kajabi: members come across from a contacts CSV. Free course migration, usually 2 to 4 weeks, is on Business billed yearly and Plus only, and quizzes aren't moved.
6 reported problems and no major outage in the last 90 days; typically fixed in 4 min.
Contacts export to CSV, sent by email with a link that expires after 3 days. Sales records come out as a CSV too. Videos can be downloaded, but one at a time from each lesson, so a big library takes a while.
Full course content can’t be exported: Kajabi says it needs a manual backup, and blog posts can’t be exported at all. Copy those across while your account is live. Then check any running payment plans, because subscribers don’t move by themselves. For more platforms like these, see learning apps on Appys.
