How the Appys are judged

There’s no panel and no voting. The judge is each app’s own record, read from its own status page.

How the Appys are judged: least time in a major outage, then least time with any problem, then fewest problems

The rules

  1. Least time in a major outage. The app that spent the least time completely down over the last 90 days ranks highest.
  2. Then least time with any problem. If two apps are level, the one with less time reporting smaller problems goes ahead.
  3. Then fewest problems. Still level? Fewer separate problems wins.

Planned maintenance never counts against an app. Overlapping problems are counted once, so an app isn’t punished twice for the same hour.

Who can win

Only apps with a full 90-day record are ranked. Apps that are new to Appys appear in the tables, marked as not ranked yet, until their record covers the whole period.

What the record can’t see

Every app reports its own problems, and some report more carefully than others. An app that posts every small problem can look worse than one that posts only big ones. We show exactly what each app reports, and we never add or remove problems ourselves.

When the Appys are named

The tables show who is leading right now, over the last 90 days. The first Appys will be named in January 2027.
