- Make sure your device’s date and time are set automatically: a wrong clock can stop secure connections.
- Check your account another way, such as the website instead of the app, before you try a payment again.
Robinhood down? What to do while you wait
- Don’t repeat a payment or transfer that seemed to fail. Check your account first: outages can delay confirmations, and you could pay twice.
- Card payments and cash machines often keep working even when an app is down.
- For anything urgent or worrying, contact Robinhood through its official help pages, never through links in messages you weren’t expecting.
- Keep this page open: the status changes by itself when Robinhood posts the fix, so there’s no need to keep refreshing.
