- Don’t repeat a payment or transfer that seemed to fail. Check your account first: outages can delay confirmations, and you could pay twice.
- Card payments and cash machines often keep working even when an app is down.
- For anything urgent or worrying, contact Gusto through its official help pages, never through links in messages you weren’t expecting.
- Keep this page open: the status changes by itself when Gusto posts the fix, so there’s no need to keep refreshing.

Why apps like Gusto go down
Money apps and payment services usually go down after updates, at the busiest times such as payday and big sales, or when a bank or card network they rely on has problems. Even big outages are often partial, hitting one feature, one region or one group of users rather than everyone.
